The workbooks and learning materials have been developed by Mt Eliza Business School as part of the nationally accredited Frontline Management in Action (Certificate of Business and Diploma of Business) series. The learning materials and workbooks are presented in a highly professional manner that is consistent with contemporary action-learning principles.

Cognition associates is a licenced Mt Eliza Business School provider of Certificate of Business and Diploma of Business learning materials and bring its own business consulting experience to these materials so that they are tailored to achieve the results and reputation you want your team leaders to achieve for you.

our learning structure

A key feature of our approach to the learning structure is to find the best fit between work and learning demands and to work to integrate the two — learning occurs by doing.

The learning structure usually involves an initial two-day workshop that provides in-depth training on the key team leader skills of presentations, learning styles, coaching and interpersonal skills.

All workshops are then designed around a one day format with appropriate interactive workbooks being used to support self-paced learning.

If there are a series of workshops they are usually spaced about one month apart so that individual learners can apply their learning at work, with appropriate coaching support either from us, or their own manager. This also enables them to share their learning with others as part of the next workshop.

The workshops are able to conducted on your premises, a nominated training venue or alternatively at a venue arranged by us with your approval. Our fees would reflect the choice of venue.

our learning design and delivery

We have extensive experience in designing learning approaches that deliver outcomes for the enterprise and the individual. Our design team understands the key relationship between knowledge and performance. We also ensure that there is a clear translation of design into delivery through agreed assessment processes.

We have an experienced group of presenters who have all had considerable business experience and understand the critical role of team leaders in achieving the results and reputation that enterprises want. They are also experienced as coaches and can provide individuals with dynamic and context-based support and feedback.

our continuing learning framework

As a consequence of our association with Mt Eliza Business School, cognition associates is able to provide the opportunity for individual learners to complete a nationally accredited qualification. The Certificate of Business and Diploma of Business qualification can be achieved at certificate or diploma levels as part of the Australian Qualifications Framework.

This option can be developed as an enterprise approach or individuals can enroll in public programs that we offer from time to time.

An individual's eligibility to be awarded a certificate or diploma depends upon the degree of delegation of authority held by the individual and the qualification level to be undertaken by an individual would be subject to consultation with you.

Mt Eliza Business School also offers a separate academic pathway for tertiary qualifications and we can make you aware of these options as part of your enterprises career development process.
